Ambassador for the 2018 The Challenge Games

Brianna Coop, a Para athlete from the Commonwealth Games held in Brisbane this year, will be our ambassador for this year’s 25 year celebrations.

Brianna won a bronze medal in the 100 metre sprint at the Brisbane Commonwealth Games this year.  She was a competitor at The Challenge Games before she was given a place in the Para Athletics team to represent Australia. Her other accomplishments include:

  • 4th place in women’s T35 100m and 200m at 2017 World Para Athletics Championships in London
  • 4th and 5th in the women’s 100m and 200m respectively at Rio Paralympics 2016
  • bronze medal in women’s T35 100m and 4th in 200m at 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships in Doha

Brianna will be attending The Challenge Games as a guest and she will be officiating is some of the Para athlete trials.

We are very excited to have Brianna attending the games this year. She will have her bronze medal with her and we’re sure she will be more than happy to give any students who are looking at a career in Athletics some tips on success.
