Dates for 2019 are Wednesday 31 July and Thursday 1 August 2019. What a wonderful 25 year celebration we had last year.
With over 1000 children from all over North Queensland and lots of spectators the Townsville Sports Reserve was jumping.
Brianna Coop our Para Athlete Ambassador was fantastic and was able to meet lots of participants and encourage our next generation of Para athletes.
The purpose of The Challenge Games is to provide two days of fun, friendship and participation in a range of sports and fun activities for school students who have a disability. These activities include running, jumping, throwing and team events plus many other fun/novelty activities. Students may participate in as many or few events as they wish, according to their own level of interest and ability.
The Challenge Games is run by a committee of dedicated individuals, sponsored by some fantastic businesses, and wouldn't be able to run without the donation of so much time by our team of volunteers.
The Challenge Games is being held on Wednesday 31st July and Thursday 1st Aug. Register today to guarantee your child a spot in North Queensland's only event of this nature.
If you were unable to volunteer because you didn't have a blue card make sure you get on for next year. It is free if you use the name of The Challenge Games as your organisation. You will have to get it endorsed by a member of the committee.
