Dates for the 2025 The Challenge Games are 23 and 24 July 2025

This year was our 30 year celebration and what a party we had.It started with a meet and greet on the Tuesday evening to thank all our amazing sponsors who have supported us over this time. Then on the Wednesday morning we had a sensational March past with Pimlico State High School band playing the music for the march past. Then we had Vincent State School signing choir sing three amazing songs.

Phillip Thompson the federal member for Townsville opened The Challenge Games with a host of dignitaries attending. Then the carnival started with a large variety of events on offer for the children to trial. We had Wheelchair Rugby League,Table tennis and Australian Rules football just to name a few.

There were may athletes who trialed in the Gail Brodie Trials and achieved their PB. We had may participants take advantage of the Physical Classifiers who were able to classify many of the participants.

Thursday was more athletics and the presentation of trophies as well as presentation of the Brian Greenaway volunteer trophy that was won by Brian’s good friend Geoff Peace. To end the carnival ice creams were given to each and every participant and volunteers from one of our many sponsore.

We had a record number of schools and parents/carers register and record number of participants 1258.

Can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store.
