Important information for volunteers
If you are considering volunteering at the Challenge Games in 2022 this is a reminder that due to changes to legislative procedures all volunteers will be required to obtain a Blue Card. This process takes approximately six weeks so it would be advisable to commence the process as soon as possible.
If you have volunteered previously you will be aware how congested it can become as volunteers arrive each morning to sign on. This year we would like to attempt to streamline the sign on process. We are going to have a pre-volunteer meeting a couple of days before The Challenge Games. When you or your organisation have definite numbers and/or names of volunteers it would be helpful if you could advise us of this as well as any preferences for sporting stations you may like to work at. This will enable us to allocate people to areas prior to the days of the Challenge Games. Whilst we will attempt to consider your preferences and to allocate you to the requested areas, I’m sure that you will understand that we may need to allocate people to other areas to ensure we have adequate numbers at all the stations.
Without the continued support of all our volunteers the Challenge Games would not be the success it is. We appreciate your support again.
