Ambassadors for 2022

Hi everyone we have some exciting news for 2022. 

We are very lucky to have two Invictus team members accept our nominations as Ambassadors for The Challenge Games, 2022.

Shane Bramley was the Co-Captain of the Australian Invictus Games team. He won gold for the discus and bronze in the wheelchair basketball at the Invictus Games held in The Hague this year as well as competing in wheelchair basketball and sitting volleyball.

Damien Irish attended the 2018 Invictus Games and won Gold in the Discus as well as attending the 2022 Invictus Games at The Hague. His sports are athletics, powerlifting, indoor rowing, swimming and sitting volleyball.

Shannon Stewart competed in and won a medal in the wheelchair rugby at the 2019 Warrior Games for Australia. He competed at the 2022 Invictus Games at The Hague. His sports are archery, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby.

Shane, Damien and Shannon will attend The Opening Ceremony at the Sports Reserve on Wednesday 27 July at 10 am and will be available during the two-day event to encourage, support and talk to parents/participants.
