Results for para athletes in 2025

We are very excited to recognise the following athletes who have just attended the All Schools State Championships in in Townsville in Oct 2025. Each of these students have been chosen in the North Qld team to attend the National Championships in Canberra in Nov 2025

Heath Otto He ran with the U18 Men for the 400m. 8th overall, 1st in U18 Men Para 1:05.13 Open Men’s Para 200m, 1st with a time of 29.95 PB (0.25 secs off the National Record) Open Men’s Para 100m, he came 2nd overall and 1st in U18 13.11 P Men’s U18 800m 6th overall, 1st in Para U18 2:47.55 Men’s U18 1500m 5th overall, 1st in Para U18 6:06.70
Taj Appleby 2nd place in Discus and Javelin, breaking the national record for both
Kayne Kellett 2nd in the 100mt and 200mt sprints . 1st in the long jump with a new national record
Zavier Kennell 1st 100 mt and 200 mt sprints
Thea Gould 1st in the 100mt sprint
